Chobe National Park remains one of Africa’s prime gameviewing areas, with the magnificent Chobe River and its extensive floodplains being home to huge herds of buffalo and elephant.  Flocks of waterfowl winging their way toward the sunset create an enduring memory of the splendour of this corner of Africa.  Situated on a hill just outside the North Gate of Chobe National Park overlooking the Chobe River, Chobe Chilwero has an intimate atmosphere as only 16 guest are accommodated in thatch and timber bungalows with en-suite shower, wash hand basin and w.c.  The main guest area hosts a lounge, dining area, upstairs viewing deck and curio shop.   In the attractive lodge grounds there is a bar, boma, bar-b-que area and swimming pool where guests can relax and enjoy the stillness of the surrounding bush.   Activities include morning and afternoon game drives in the Chobe National Park and boat cruises on the Chobe River.  Optional activities, which are at additional cost, include fishing, mokoro excursions and a visit to Victoria Falls.
