Day 1 & 2: Cape Town, South Africa Upon your arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by a representative from &BEYOND, who will assist you through passport control and baggage claim. You will then be chauffeured to Ellerman House, where you will receive your personalised travel journal.
Ellerman House nestled along the slopes of Lion’s Head Mountain. Steeped in history, this magnificent establishment offers its guests superb accommodation and art enthusiasts will revel in its fine collection of South African masterpieces. Each suite has a gracious living room, beautiful ensuite bathroom and private, sea-facing balcony. Guest areas include a world-class kitchen, which offers visitors a chance to try their hand at traditional Cape Malay cooking, a well-equipped gym and soul-soothing spa, an inviting swimming pool, library and magnificent gardens. A variety of adventures awaits guests in the surrounding Cape Town area. From picturesque beaches and tours up the famed Table Mountain to world-class wine tasting and exhilarating water sports – there is something for everyone!
Spend two nights in a sea-facing room at Ellerman House. Your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis, including a made to order breakfast with fresh-pressed juices and home-baked breads and pastries, as well as a guest pantry with a wide selection of snacks and in-between meal options.
Day 3, 4 & 5: NamibRand Nature Reserve, Namibia You will be chauffeured to Cape Town International Airport for a flight to Windhoek (flight not included in cost). A representative from &BEYOND will be waiting for you at Hosea Kutako (Windhoek International) Airport and will help you transfer to a light aircraft flight to &BEYOND Sossusvlei Desert Lodge.
Enjoy three nights in a twin bedded villa built into rock, with ensuite facilities, at Sossusvlei. Accommodation is on a full board basis including specified adventures within the NamibRand Nature Reserve.
The surrounding area lends itself to numerous adventures, including scenic drives by four-wheel drive vehicle in the NamibRand Nature Reserve, where you may encounter a variety of desert animals, such as gemsbok, zebra, springbok, bat-eared fox, aardwolf, caracal and jackal. A wonderful way of experiencing the dunes is by All Terrain Vehicles with an experienced guide, who sets a route along set paths in order not to damage the fragile ecology.
Guided nature walks and hiking trails provide an insight into the unique desert environment with its wide diversity of desert-adapted flora and fauna. At the end of the day the blanket of stars in the desert sky is brought to life through the lodge’s high-powered computerised telescope. Housed in a separate building, this Meade Telescope affords both the amateur and the professional stargazer a close-up view of the galaxy.
Day 6 & 7: Okavango Delta, Botswana Return to Hosea Kutako (Windhoek International) Airport for a flight to Maun (not included in cost). Upon arrival at Maun you will be met and helped onto another light aircraft flight to the lodge or camp of your choice.
Spend two nights at &BEYOND Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp in an elegant safari tent on a wooden deck. Accommodation is on a full board basis. Enjoy your choice of daily adventures, including meandering along the floodplains of the Delta by mokoro, exploring the deeper channels by motor boat, nature walks accompanied by a professional guide or tracking game by open 4x4 safari vehicle in the mopane forests and open grasslands. The added highlight of an evening game drive by spotlight assures you of the most complete lodge experience in Botswana. Helicopter flights can be arranged at an additional cost.

Watch the mighty Zambezi River rolling by for the next two nights in a spacious suite on the shady river bank. Accommodation is on a full board basis. Go in search of the Big Five on morning game drives and discover the exciting nocturnal world of the carnivores on thrilling night drives. Track game coming down to the river to drink on guided bush walks or admire them from the smooth waters on sunset boat cruises or from a canoe. Try your hand at catching the fierce tiger fish or any of the varied species that inhabit the Zambezi.
Day 12: Departure You will be chauffeured to Victoria Fall Airport, where your safari with us will end.
