Cosmopolitan Cape Town hosts a wide selection of excellent golf courses, including the Royal Cape Golf Club, established in 1885, which competes side-by-side with new designer courses such as Arabella Golf Club near Hermanus. Golf in the Cape can easily be combined with wonderful sightseeing excursions to the Peninsula’s highlights – Cape Point, Table Mountain, the Winelands and Robben Island to name a few.

Day 01 – 07:
You will be met at Cape Town International Airport by a CC Africa representative and transferred to the hotel/guesthouse of your choice. Our representative will go through your travel documentation with you, providing self-drive tips and advice on the many interesting places you can visit. Your rental car is delivered the following day and your days are free to enjoy the golfing and magnificent attractions of Cape Town
In your package we have included a one-day Cape Town Pass. This entitles you to free entry to more than 50 unique attractions and activities, and also offers you specials and discounts to the best that Cape Town has to offer. You can hop on the Cape Town Explorer topless bus, visit the Two Oceans Aquarium, go on a cruise with the Waterfront Boat Company, visit the Castle of Good Hope and more - all of these in one day, and at your own leisure.
Drive along the coast to Clovelly Country Club, an all-time favourite parklands course. One of Southern Africa’s most picturesque and challenging courses, it is famous for its rolling computer-irrigated fairways, undulating holes and magnificent landscaping. Return to Cape Town via Cape Point Nature Reserve. Test your skills at Erinvale, a Gary Player-designed championship course in the Winelands with several water features and a variety of different bunkers to make the challenge complete. Round the day off with a visit to a nearby winery or restaurant. Take a break from driving and play a round of golf at home - Steenberg is another exclusive estate layout built around a vineyard, and overlooked by mountains and forests. Set in the Constantia Winelands outside Cape Town. Milnerton, Cape Town’s true links course, offers spectacular views of the mountain and Robben Island. New water features, bunkers and greens together with the inevitable ingredient at a links course – wind – makes this course a real challenge. Make your way to South Africa’s oldest club, Royal Cape, established in Cape Town in 1885. A prestigious championship course that is always in good condition and has slick greens, which present a real challenge.
Spend seven nights at Acorn House (V), Radisson (L), or Steenberg (D) on a bed & breakfast basis.
Day 08:
Drive to Cape Town Airport to drop off your rental car, in time for your connecting flight, or continue your self-drive holiday along the Garden Route.
