Day 01 - 03: Cape Town Upon your arrival at Cape Town International Airport a CC Africa Representative will meet you, and you will be transferred to the hotel or guesthouse of your choice. Our Representative will go through your travel documentation with you. Your rental car is delivered to you on day two and you have three days at leisure to explore the Cape Peninsula.
In your package we have included a one-day Cape Town Pass. This entitles you to free entry to more than 50 unique attractions and activities, and also offers you specials and discounts to the best that Cape Town has to offer. You can hop on the Cape Town Explorer topless bus, visit the Two Oceans Aquarium, go on a cruise with the Waterfront Boat Company, visit the Castle of Good Hope and more - all of these in one day, and at your own leisure.
Spend three nights at your choice of the following hotels or guesthouses: Acorn House (V & family), in a family suite. Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis. Or Winchester Mansions (L & family), in a Colonial Suite. Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 04 - 05: Whale Route Depart from Cape Town for the coastal town of Hermanus, situated in Walker Bay on the eastern seaboard.
Spend two nights at your choice of the following hotels or guesthouses: Abalone Guest House (V & family), in a superior room. Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis. / From 01 May-30 September Windsor Hotel in a sea-facing room. Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis. Or Grootbos Nature Reserve (L & family), in a suite. Accommodation is on a fully inclusive basis (including: welcome drink on arrival, three meals, fresh fruit basket in suite daily, transfers to all activities, horse riding, guided walks and nature & coastal drives)
Day 06 - 08: Garden Route Using your directions, continue down the Garden Route coastline to Knysna and Plettenberg Areas.
Spend three nights at your choice of the following hotels or guesthouses: Periwinkle Lodge (V & family), in a standard sea-facing room. Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis. Or Hog Hollow Country Lodge (L & family), in a luxury suite. Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 09 – 10: Eastern Cape Drive east towards Port Elizabeth for your Big Five safari. The Eastern Cape is rich in history, culture and diversity, and offers the traveller a unique wildlife experience in a malaria-free environment.
Spend two nights at your choice of the following game lodges: Lalibela Mark’s Camp (V & family), in a standard chalet. Accommodation is on a fully inclusive basis (including: all meals, game activities, beverages and children’s programme). Or Kwandwe Private Game Reserve in the three-bedroom Uplands House (L & family). Accommodation is on a fully inclusive basis (including: three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local branded spirits and beers, teas and coffees, two game drives daily in open safari vehicles, refreshments on game drives, one hour nature walks subject to availability and accompanied by experienced and armed trackers, laundry and emergency medical evacuation insurance).
Day 11: Drive to Port Elizabeth Airport to drop off your rental car, in time for your connecting flight.
