Arguably Kenya’s premier wildlife area, the famous Masai Mara National Reserve covers an area of 1 510 km2, and forms the northern extension of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. It is a mosaic of rolling grassland, small bush-covered hills, acacia woodland, and along the Mara River, riverine bush and forest. The Reserve is home to the Big Five, and is famous for the annual Great Migration of more than two million wildebeest and thousands of Thomson’s gazelle, zebra and impala. Aside from the Migration, game viewing is excellent year round, and is great for birding enthusiasts, with 500 species recorded to date.

Day 01 & 02: Masai Mara National Reserve Upon your arrival at Wilson Airport you will be met by a representative from CC Africa for your scheduled flight to Kichwa Airstrip. Daily flights depart at 10:00 or 15:00. From the airstrip a short game-drive transfer, 10 minutes will bring you to camp
Spend two nights at Bateleur Camp at Kichwa Tembo. Accommodation is in a tent, splendidly furnished, with en-suite shower, twin hand basins and w.c. Each tent is tended by a butler. Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled activities and park fees.
Activities include game-drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles. A ballooning safari and/or a day trip to Lake Victoria (Mfangano Island) can be arranged at an additional cost
