Swakopmund is the second largest town in Namibia with Bavarian-style architecture. It looks and feels like a little piece of Germany, except perhaps for the palm trees and surrounding desert. It's an easy and pleasant town to walk around in, with a casino and lots of shops. Enjoy an exciting dolphin cruise, which includes fresh oysters and cold champagne.

DAY 1: Swakopmund
Upon arrival at Swakopmund airport, transfer to the hotel of your choice. The afternoon is yours to spend at leisure to explore Swakopmund and enjoy optional desert excursions and activities. Our local office will gladly assist you with these arrangements. Overnight on a bed and breakfast basis at the hotel of your choice.

DAY 2: Swakopmund
This morning depart on a full day tour starting with an exciting dolphin cruise, where a tasty treat of fresh oysters and cold champagne is served, and then continue south towards the Kuiseb river in search of a family of Topnaars. The Topnaars are of the original Nama-speaking groups of Namibia who were subjugated by the more powerful Oorlams Nama group. A small group of Topnaars continued to live in the lower reaches of the Kuiseb river, grazing their goats on the riverine vegetation. After a glimpse into the everyday lives of the Topnaars, we bid farewell to our newfound friends and head back to Swakopmund via the gravel plains behind the dune belt. Overnight on a bed and breakfast basis at the hotel of your choice.

DAY 3: TOUR TERMINATES
The morning is at leisure until you are transferred to Swakopmund Airport.
