DAY 1: Hardap Dam
On arrival at Hosea Kutako Airport (Windhoek International) you will be met by a representative from Afro Ventures who will assist you with completing your car rental formalities. After a self drive briefing depart for Hardap Dam which lies 250 km south of Windhoek.
Overnight at HARDAP RECREATION RESORT in a twin bedded bungalow on a room only basis.

DAY 2: Fish River Canyon
An early start is required today as the drive from Hardap Dam to the Canon Roadhouse is 440 kms and will take approximately 5 hours. The Canon Roadhouse is only 22 kms from the main Fish River Canyon viewpoint and is an excellent base from where you can visit the awe-inspiring Fish River Canyon, as well as exploring the Gondwana Cañon Park, which is a private nature park bordering the eastern side of the Fish River Canyon.

DAY 3: Fish River Canyon
Today is at leisure to explore the harsh rocky region surrounding the course of Namibia’s longest river, the Fish. Alternatively you may opt to go horse riding or enjoy a scenic flight over the Fish River Canyon.

DAY 4: La Vallee Tranquille
After breakfast depart for La Vallee Tranquille which is a private run guest farm 60 km from Duwisib Castle. A feature of this friendly guest farm is its wholesome cuisine, which is a mixture of traditional Namibian and French.

DAY 5: Namib-Naukluft Park
This morning you will make your way to The Namib which is one of the oldest and most beautiful deserts in the world. Situated at the entrance to the Namib-Naukluft Park and blending into the environment as naturally as the surrounding dunes is Sossusvlei Lodge.

DAY 6: Namib-Naukluft Park
Today is at leisure to explore the towering, sculptured dunes of Sossusvlei, which are amongst the most awe-inspiring in the world. The picturesque Sesriem Canyon is only a short distance from the lodge and is definitely worth a visit.

DAY 7: Swakopmund
Your drive to Swakopmund, Namibia’s premier coastal resort is 365 km which takes approximately 5,5 hours. A section of sand dunes near Swakopmund has been set aside as a recreational area and here you may undertake many exciting adventure activities like quad biking, dune boarding, and camel rides. Boat excursions to cruise beside the dolphins at play and visit some island seal colonies are also popular.
